Day one is all about understanding the 3 pillars of breathwork as well as the foundations of Breathing that every other technique stems from.
This foundational breathwork practice is deep diaphragmatic breathing. 

If we are unable to breathe deeply into the diaphragm, we will not be able to do any of the more advanced techniques so this is the first style of breathing we must learn. 

But first, let's get into the 3 pillars of Breathwork. 

These 3 pillars are represented as the 3 foundational Categories of Breathwork, each with specific purposes. 
These Categories are:
